The paintings in this series express Bonnie’s reverence, appreciation, and joy for the elements of Nature that coalesce and coexist in this spectacular landscape. She is a part of the sacred and challenging history of this land and all the Peoples who have known or loved it.

Bonnie wishes to acknowledge the indigenous histories that go back 14,000 years, knowing that this Earth, this soil, these breathtaking spaces have belonged to and been cherished by others, have inspired other names, meanings, and memories.
